Fell in love with bison back in the 80s when I lived in Kansas. Used to drive up to Ft. Riley to the buffalo pens & spend hours just watching the few they had. I am so glad to have found Cross Timbers Bison. I retired after 40+ years in the clerical field. I've worked on construction sites, Boeing in Wichita, KS, Douglas County Drug Court, Immanuel Hospital, Select Van Lines and others. I am the youngest of 8 and have only one sibling left. He is a retired Army Ranger who did 3 combat tours in Viet Nam, where he was wounded several times, received multiple awards for valor including the Silver Star, 2 Bronze Stars, 5 Purple Hearts and the Vietnamese Honor Medal. He is a world-renowned artist and president of the New Mexico Veterans Art. He is my heart and was pretty much mother & father to me when I was a kid. My house was not a good place to grow up and I don't know how I would have survived without him. Much love & Blessing to Dusty and his family.😊
